## API integration functions [#api-integration-functions]

The API covers the following areas. Access and available operations depend on your integration, permissions and agreed scope.

    | Distribution             | Manage distribution grants; authorised distributors can retrieve products, reserve and issue cards, look up their orders and retrieve statements. |

    For example, a website integration may use products and orders, while a till integration may use balance lookup and redemption. We will help identify the functions appropriate to your requirements.

    Specialist operations, bulk gifting and test facilities can be discussed with our team. API availability does not mean that the same action is available as self-service in the merchant portal.
